PSERC: Petition of PSPCL for approval of installing Rooftop Solar Plants atop all PSPCL office buildings under CAPEX

Petitioner: Punjab State Power Corporation Limited.

Background: Punjab State Power Corporation Limited filed this petition under Section 62 read with Section 86 (1) (b) and (e) of the Electricity Act, 2003 (hereinafter being referred to as the “Act”) read with Regulation 16 of the PSERC (Framework for Resource Adequacy) Regulations, 2024, seeking approval for installing rooftop solar plants atop all PSPCL office buildings under Capital Expenditure model (hereinafter being referred to as the “CAPEX Model”) and approval of the expenditure incurred and other terms and conditions in respect thereof.
