REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) has issued a request for proposal (RFP) to develop a 2,000 MW intrastate transmission system for power evacuation from a proposed solar park at Ryapte village in Karnataka’s Tumkur district. The project will be executed under the build, own, operate, and transfer (BOOT) model, with commissioning required within 24 months.
