Background:
The present Petition has been filed by the Discoms (hereinafter referred to as the 'Petitioners') under section 86 (1) and 181 of the Electricity Act, 2003 read with regulation 96, 97 and 98 of Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions For Tariff Determination From Renewable Energy Sources) Regulations, 2020 and amendments thereof to make necessary amendments in the said regulations regarding the permissible capacity of eligible individual new renewable energy-based captive power plant including renewable energy based plant installed behind the meter.
