The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has invited proposals for the Balance of System (BoS) components for a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Nandiyal, Andhra Pradesh. With a planned capacity of 600 MW and 1200 MWh storage, this standalone BESS initiative is part of India’s broader goal to develop 30 GWh of battery storage by 2028.
