The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has issued the Request for Selection (RfS) for procurement of energy from 800 MW/3,200 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in India under Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding, designated as SECI-ESS-IV. The procurement is aimed at strengthening India’s energy storage ecosystem and supporting reliable integration of increasing renewable energy capacity.
