SJVN Limited has issued a Request for Selection (RfS) for the development of 265 MW/530 MWh Standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Haryana under Viability Gap Funding (VGF) schemes through tariff-based competitive bidding. SJVN, a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Power and designated Renewable Energy Implementing Agency (REIA) by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), will act as the intermediary procurer for the project.
