TGERC: Petition of TGDISCOMs for Adoption of Tariff for Procurement of 2,545 MW Solar Power from NTPC, NHPC and SECI

Background: The present Petition is filed by the Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited and Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (collectively referred to as TGDISCOMs) seeking adoption of tariff u/s 63 & 86 (1) (b) of the Electricity Act, 2003 and u/s 21 (4) of Telangana Electricity Reforms Act, 1998 pertaining to procurement of 1,045 MW Solar power from NTPC under CPSU Scheme Phase-II Tranche-III, 500 MW Solar power from NHPC under CPSU Scheme Phase-II Tranche-III and 1,000 MW Solar power from SECI under ISTS Tranche-IX by TGDISCOMs.
