(a) TNPDCL (the erstwhile TANGEDCO) shall initiate action for recovery of CC charges and BPSC due from the local bodies who are in arrears by issuing prior notice as contemplated in the Electricity Act 2003 and the relevant Regulations fixing reasonable timeline for the payment of the arrears.
(b) However if TNPDCL desires to have the arrears recovered in 24 equal monthly instalments, the same may be indicated in the notice subject to the approval of the Board of TNPDCL.
