In December 2025, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) updated the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM), adding 23,119 MW of solar module capacity in List-I, raising the total capacity to 144,841 MW. Six new manufacturers entered ALMM List-I, contributing 4,187 MW: Znshine Solarworld (1,552 MW), Inox Solar (1,274 MW), Macwin Solar Energy (405 MW), Eastman Green Technologies (374 MW), Frontier Energy (548 MW), and Green Valley Motors (34 MW).
