Background: The Petitioner, NPCL, has filed the present petition seeking approval of Power Purchase Agreements and adoption of Tariff discovered through Competitive Bidding for Procurement of upto 40 MW RTC power from Apr'26-Jul'26 & Sep'26 and upto 10 MW Peak Power from Apr'26-Sep'26 on Short Term basis under Section 86(1) (b) and Section 63 of the Electricity Act, 2003 read with Clause 11.
