Background: The present Petition has been filed by UPNEDA seeking relaxation of various provisions of the UPERC (Rooftop Solar PV Grid Interactive System Gross/Net Metering) Regulations, 2019 and the Orders passed by the Commission and also the approval of the proposed Standard Operating Procedure ("SOP") for net-metering under the PM PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojna (PMSGMBY).
