Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd. (UPPCL) has invited bids to procure power from 375 MW/1,500 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) under a Viability Gap Funding (VGF) scheme. The bid submission deadline is October 13, 2025, with openings on October 16. Projects must be developed on a build-own-operate basis with VGF support of ₹18 Lakh/MW.
