Background: Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd. (APDCL) filed a petition under section 86 read with Section 62 of the Electricity Act, 2003 seeking adoption of tariff for purchase of 200 MW Power from 1200 MW Kalai II Hydro Electric Project undertaken by THDCIL and for the approval of the draft power sale agreement in terms of the AERC (Terms and Conditions for Determination of Multi Year Tariff) Regulations, 2021.
