Background: Petition for approval of proposed amendments in the tender documents that is approved by the Commission and accordingly floated by APDCL on August 2, 2025, under Section 63 of the Electricity Act, 2003, for the long-term procurement of 3200 MW (4 x 800 MW) of coal-based thermal power from A plant to be established by the bidder/generator in Assam.
