Background: The Chief Engineer (Commercial) of South Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd. and North Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd. has filed this petition seeking approval of the True-up of the Fuel and Power Purchase Adjustment Surcharge (FPPAS) for FY 2025-26, in exercise of the powers conferred under Sections 62 and 86 of the Electricity Act, 2003, read with Regulation 20 of the Bihar Electricity Regulatory Commission (Multi Year Distribution Tariff) Regulations, 2024.
