In a recent session, the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) deliberated on the implications and amendments related to the Sharing of Inter-State Transmission Charges and Losses (CERC Regulation 2020). The Ministry of Power (MoP) issued directives aimed at waiving inter-state transmission charges for electricity generated from solar and wind sources until June 2025.
