During the hearing on ‘admission’, the learned counsel for the Petitioner, JIPTL, submitted that the present petition had been filed seeking payment of the late payment surcharge by the Respondent BEST on account of the delay in releasing the differential amounts due to an increase in Clean Environment Cess.
