Learned counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the present Petitions had been filed for the grant of a transmission licence to establish the “Transmission System for evacuation of power from Eastern Region Expansion Scheme XXXIV (ERES- XXXIV)” (‘the Project’) and for the adoption of transmission charges in respect of the Project discovered pursuant to the tariff based competitive bidding process.
