By Order dated 30.8.2018, Refex Energy Limited (now known as Svaryu Energy Limited, hereinafter referred as “Respondent”), was granted inter-State trading licence for Category “I” for trading in electricity in whole of India in accordance with the application made under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (36 of 2003) (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”) read with the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Procedure, Terms and Conditions for grant of Trading licence and other related matters) Regulations, 2009 (hereinafter referred to as “the Trading Licence Regulations”) Consequent to the enactment of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Procedure, Terms and Conditions for grant of trading licence and other related matters) Regulations, 2020, and subsequent amendments thereof (hereinafter referred as “the Trading Licence Regulations, 2020”).
