The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has released updated guidelines aimed at enhancing the quality assurance framework for solar modules in India. Under the new policy, all solar modules must be registered with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in accordance with the Solar Systems, Devices and Components Goods Order, 2025.
