Background: Petition under Section 86 (1) (c), (e) and (f) of the Electricity Act, 2003 and Regulations 79, 80, 84 and 85 of the GERC (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2004 as amended till date, read with Regulation 45 of the GERC (Terms and Conditions of Intra-State Open Access) Regulations, 2011, seeking inter-alia extension of use of GETCO’s spare 220 kV GIS Feeder Bay at Kalavad Substation as a Temporary arrangement till such time the construction of the permanent bay is completed by the other 3 RE generators (Cleanmax, Suzlon, OP Wind) connected to the same line, and further pass appropriate Order(s) / Direction(s) to GETCO to not to disconnect Petitioner’s project from the grid on account of the Force Majeure events faced by the Petitioner.
