Background:
The Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission (hereinafter
referred to as the “JSERC” or the “Commission”) was established by the
Government of Jharkhand under Section 17 of the Electricity Regulatory
Commission Act, 1998 on August 22, 2002. The Commission became
operational with effect from April 24, 2003.
