Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) has invited bids for the selection of Battery Energy Storage System Developers (BESSDs) to establish a 200 MW/400 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at the Huliyurdurga KPTCL Substation in Karnataka. The project will be implemented under a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) model through Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) and is supported by Viability Gap Funding (VGF) from the Government of India.
