Background: The Commission, vide its common Order dated 27 December 2023 in Case Nos. 151 of 2023, 177 of 2023, 186 of 2023, 187 of 2023, and 196 of 2023 (Jubilant & Others Vs MSEDCL) (Common Order dated 27 December 2023) directed MSEDCL not to levy Wheeling Charges and Wheeling losses on the power sourced through Open Access as no MSEDCL’s distribution system was used.
