Background:
Member Secretary, NRPC welcomed the Chairperson, NRPC and MD, HPPTCL. Further, he welcomed all the participants connected in the meeting from power sector utilities of Northern Region, including newly added RE Generators as permanent members of NRPC. He also added that a Committee has been formed to review the over-voltage protection settings of 765kV and 400kV Transmission lines of Northern region as per recommendation of the Committee framed to “Analyse the Grid Event happened at 13:53 hrs on 17th June 2024 due to tripping of HVDC Champa-Kurukshetra”.
