A new record of highest electricity demand in the history of Madhya Pradesh was made today on 18th December at 9.34 am when the peak demand of electricity reached 18695 MW. The highest electricity supply in history was 3368.56 lakh units in the state on 17th December. In this way, a record of both demand and supply of electricity was established in the state within a span of one day.
