MNRE Issues SOPs for Approved List of Manufacturers and Models for Wind Turbines and ALMM-WTC Compliance

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has released Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers for Wind (ALMM-Wind) and Wind Turbine Components (ALMM-WTC) to ensure quality, traceability, and localization in India’s wind sector. Turbine models must hold valid type certificates from accredited bodies, linking certified components such as blades, towers, and gearboxes.
