The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has released updated guidelines for Phase I of the Waste to Energy (WTE) Programme under the National Bioenergy Programme. These clarifications focus on performance inspection criteria for projects seeking Central Financial Assistance (CFA). To qualify, WTE plants must operate for three continuous months, maintaining at least 80% of their rated capacity for 24 hours during each assessment period.
