Background: The Commission registered a suo-moto petition no. 60 of 2024 on 06.11.2024 and proposed to simplify the structure of charges to be paid by the consumers seeking new service connections/ additional load up to 112 kW in the electrified area of the distribution licensees on the basis of load, category of connection sought and average cost of the connection of the distribution licensees.
