Due to effective implementation of electricity scheme in Madhya Pradesh and rapid development in electricity infrastructure, there has been a significant increase in per capita electricity consumption. In this financial year in the state, per capita electricity consumption (except roof top solar consumption) reached 1332 (kWh) kilowatt per hour.
