NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has issued an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) tender for the development of one of India’s largest standalone battery storage projects: an 800 MW / 3,200 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at the NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (REL) Khavda Park in Gujarat.
