Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has issued an Invitation for Bids (IFB) dated 16 July 2026 for a Long Term Agreement (LTA) covering the Design, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 500 MW/1000 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) across India on a Site Destination Basis under Category-A (2-hour BESS).
