Background: The present Petition has been filed by Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) under Regulation 68 of the Supply Code, 2024 and Regulations 69, 70, 71 & 72 of Chapter XIII of the Conduct of Business Regulations, 2005 regarding introduction of a special sub-category, namely “Seasonal Temporary Connection”, under the Temporary Supply category for release of seasonal temporary electricity connections to Mandis (Grain Markets).
