SECI Issues Drafts RfS for 5 Lakh MT Green Methanol Production Initiative Under SIGHT Scheme (Mode-2C-Tranche-I)

The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has issued a draft Request for Selection (RfS) under the National Green Hydrogen Mission to select developers for production and supply of Green Methanol across India. The initiative falls under the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) Scheme, specifically Mode-2C Tranche-I, and targets the creation of a large-scale domestic green fuel ecosystem.
