Telangana plans to add 20,000 MW to its existing renewable energy generation and storage capacity, which currently exceeds 11,000 MW, by 2030, as announced by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka. During the launch of the Telangana Clean and Green Energy Policy-2024, Bhatti highlighted that the state would focus on a range of initiatives to meet this target, including Standalone Renewable Energy Projects, innovative solutions like floating solar, Waste-to-Energy, and Green Hydrogen.
