Telangana Electricity Regulatory Commission (Establishment of Mechanism for Redressal of Grievances of the consumers) Regulation, 2026

This Regulation shall be applicable to the Distribution Licensees in the state of Telangana in their respective licensed areas.

CONSUMER GRIEVANCES REDRESSAL FORUM (CGRF)

Every distribution Licensee in exercise of powers conferred under sub-section (5) of Section 42 of the Act, within six months, from the date of coming into force of this Regulation or from the date of grant of distribution licence or from the date of commencement of functioning as a distribution licensee pursuant to any further transfer scheme, as the case may be, shall establish two or more Forums for redressal of grievances of complainants in accordance with this Regulation.
