Petitioner's Prayer:
Issue standard of performance Regulations for Transmission and Distribution Licensees under Section 57, 181(1), and 181(2) (za) of the Electricity Act, 2003, specifically addressing the obligations of the Licensees qua generators, including RE generators connected to the grid, in consultation with the Licensees and all stakeholders likely to be affected, after, inter alia, procuring and considering data and reports on grid maintenance activities undertaken by the Licensees, reasons and quantum of breakdowns, and timelines for attending to breakdowns, and formulate and enforce penalties for the Licensees’ non-compliance with such Regulations and frame formula for determination of compensation to affected persons, in accordance with the Electricity Act, 2003.
