UPERC: Petition of UPPCL for approval of procurement of power from 375 MW/1500 MWh BESS with VGF support

Background: The Petitioner, UPPCL, has filed this Petition seeking approval of Bidding document including draft BEDPA for procurement of 375 MW/1500 MWh of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) power under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process with Viability Gap Funding (VGF) support from Ministry of Power, Government of India through Power System Development Fund (PSDF).
