UPERC: Petition of UPSLDC for Approval of OASIS Project and PSDF Funding

Background: The Petitioner has submitted that the present Petition has been filed on behalf of UPSLDC under Section 86(1)(k) of the Electricity Act, 2003 read with Regulations 5.2, 7.4, and 7.5 of the Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Power System Development Fund) Regulations, 2023 with Regulation 15 of the UPERC (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2019 seeking approval of the Commission for disbursal of funds from the PSDF account for implementation of the "OASIS" (Open Access Scheduling and Integrated Settlement System) project at UPSLDC for the purpose of secured grid operation, scheduling, integrated energy settlement, and integrating with existing application such as SCADA, SAMAST/AMR, UPPCL, NOAR, NRLDC, etc.
