Background:
The Government of Uttar Pradesh has implemented The State Bio-Energy Promotion Programme-2018 with the aim of promoting Bio-Energy enterprises in the State. Under this programme, facilities such as Capital Subsidy to Bio-Energy Enterprises, 100% reimbursement of State GST for 10 years and 100% exemption in Stamp Duty on the purchase of land for the establishment of these enterprises were provided by the state government.
