Background
The Petitioner, POWERGRID Neemuch Transmission System Limited (hereinafter referred to as ‘Petitioner’), has filed the present Petition under Section 14 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Act’) read with the provisions of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Procedure, Terms and Conditions for Grant of Transmission License and other related matters) Regulations, 2024 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Transmission Licence Regulations’) for the grant of a separate RTM Transmission Licence to POWERGRID Neemuch Transmission System Limited for “Transmission System for enabling interconnection of REGS at Neemuch S/s” under the Regulated Tariff Mechanism (RTM) mode (hereinafter referred to as the ‘transmission project’).
