Background:
The Petitioner, NHPC Limited has filed the petition for truing-up of tariff of Chamera-I Hydroelectric Power Station, 540 MW (3x180 MW) (hereinafter referred to as “the generating station”) for the period 2019-24, in terms of Regulation 13 of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions of Tariff) Regulations, 2019 (in short, “the 2019 Tariff Regulations”) and for the determination of tariff for the generating station for period 2024-29, in accordance with Regulation 10 of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions of Tariff) Regulations, 2024, (in short ‘the 2024 Tariff Regulations’).
