As of 30 June 2026, India's total installed renewable energy capacity has reached 288,589.39 MW (288.59 GW), reflecting the country's continued progress toward a clean, sustainable, and energy-secure future. Solar energy remains the largest contributor with 162.15 GW, accounting for over 56% of the total renewable capacity.
