NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN) has invited bids for a 125 MW/500 MWh standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Chhattisgarh, near the 220 kV Khedamara Substation in Durg district. The project will receive viability gap funding of ₹18 Lacs/MWh, totaling ₹9000 Lacs. Bids are due by December 30, 2025, with opening on December 31.
