POWERGRID has floated a tender for developing a 265 MW/530 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Haryana, aimed at strengthening renewable energy integration, grid flexibility and power-system reliability. The project, identified as Package HR-BESS-01, will be implemented through the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) route and is part of Haryana’s standalone BESS initiative.
