The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has expanded India’s solar manufacturing ecosystem by updating the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) in March 2026. In the latest revision, 11,035 MW of solar module manufacturing capacity has been added to ALMM List-I, increasing the cumulative enlisted module manufacturing capacity in India to 173,144 MW.
