Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL) has issued an Expression of Interest (EOI) to develop 50 MW / 200 MWh of standalone Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across multiple 33 kV substations in the state. The initiative aims to strengthen grid reliability, facilitate renewable energy integration, and effectively manage rising peak power demand.
